Author and Illustrator
Oshadi Sandareka is a children's book illustrator and book designer from Sri Lanka. She enjoys writing and storytelling and have illustrated over 25 books internationally and nationally. Ske wrote 2 books as well. Currently she is working as a game illustrator and a concept artist at RAM studios, Sri Lanka.
As a teenager, she fell in love with writing and began telling her tales. She loves to live in her own fantasy world and tells stories by drawing whimsical, rhythmic characters and scenes from her imagination.
Oshadi graduated at the University of the Visual And Performing Arts(BVA(honours) Colombo,07. She spent time working in drawing and painting utilizing watercolor before becoming a freelance illustrator.
When she isn’t creating, Oshadi can be found reading a book or writing a poem under a shade of a tree, listening to the sound of the rain in a rainy day, enjoying the view of night sky with thousands of glooming stars and twinkling fireflies. From her childhood she loves to rescue and help animals. Currently she lives in Mirigama with her Family.
